New British cabinet members arrive at No. 10 Downing Street after Boris Johnson resigns as Prime Minister

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his resignation this week after previously stating he had no plans to leave office. He gave the announcement in a short speech outside of 10 Downing Street to a crowd of MPs and onlookers, including his wife Carrie and infant son. Johnson, 58, remains in power for the time being until his Conservative party can decide on who is best suited to replace him. On the heels of Johnsons Thursday announcement, cabinet members convened at Downing Street in London to begin the process. Despite several prominent figures rumored to be frontrunners, so far no cabinet members have officially put their names forward in candidacy.
