David Hogg, a survivor of the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and co-founder of March For Our Lives, was removed Wednesday from a House Judiciary Committee hearing on an assault weapons ban.
Hogg disrupted the hearing after Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) said Americans need to be armed against an invasion on our southern border.
A video shared by Po Murray, chair of the Newtown Action Alliance formed after the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting, shows Hogg shouting in response.
The shooter at my high school: antisemitic, anti-Black and racist. The shooter in El Paso described it as an invasion, Hogg said, referring to a 2019 shooting.
Guess what? Those guns are coming from the United States of America. They aren’t coming from Mexico, he continued as he was being led out by security. You are reiterating the points of a mass shooter, sir.
