Abortion-rights activists unfurled a banner at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday.
During the game against the New York Mets, the Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights group released a green banner that read: Overturn Roe? Hell no! Video shows activists unfurling the banner from an upper tier of the stadium.
A draft Supreme Court opinion leaked last month indicated the court intended to strike down Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that protected abortion rights at the federal level.
You may note that green is the international color for abortion rights, and that our demand is to the majority of people in the U.S. who support women to demand the Court STOP the overturning of Roe v Wade, said spokesperson Debra Sweet.
